Smart technologies are very helpful for people, but we are wasting many resources on pointless tech.
Smart technologies are created in order to improve peoples' lives. Many creations are helpful to people and are having a big impact on lives, especially in society and personal lives.

The Hive home systems and the Withings BPM are two examples of how smart technologies help people in their daily lives. Simple, elegant solutions that most people would be able to use. Connection between a necessity and someone's phone is a huge thing nowadays, so having the ease of use like this for home heating and electric meters, or health management makes life a lot easier due to the quick, easy, and smooth process.
